Core Innovation

Liquid Air Energy Storage (LAES) & The Cryogenic Engine

Our system leverages the physics of Liquid Air. By cooling air to -196°C, we reduce its volume by 700 times, creating a stable, high-density energy carrier. When introduced to ambient heat, it expands rapidly, driving our proprietary cryogenic engine to generate clean power.

Charge & Liquefy

Excess renewable energy from wind or solar is used to power an air liquefier, turning atmospheric air into a cryogenic liquid.

Low-Pressure Storage

The liquid air is stored in insulated tanks at low pressure, providing a safe, non-flammable energy reserve for hours or weeks.

Power Recovery

When demand peaks, liquid air is regasified. The massive expansion drives the ALIFE AIR engine, returning zero-emission electricity to the grid or vehicle.
